Tough way to lose, but you need your big players to step up in big games. C.J. Stroud has the talent to be a big player, but something is missing inside of him to take that next step. Hopefully this loss can help him find it for next season. #Texans
Another #Texans turnover, and this is not on Stroud. Woody Marks fumbles in the red zone and New England recovers. Sigh.
Will Anderson Jr. gets another strip sack, and Al-Shaair recovers for the #Texans!
#Texans don't get a TD on their first drive of the second half, but they get a FG to cut the deficit to 8. Pats lead 21-13 early in the third quarter.
True, one big play and you're back into the game. But no Collins and no Schulz still doesn't sell me into a big comeback. #Texans
I think it's time for Davis Mills to make his playoff debut in the second half. #Texans
Patriots score again on a 7-yard TD pass, now lead #Texans 21-10 with 3:12 left in the first half.
Another turnover. #Texans cannot win this game unless Stroud and the offense get it together and take care of the football.
Stroud is intercepted by Marcus Jones, who returns it for a TD. #Texans lead is gone just like that, Patriots now lead 14-10 in second quarter.
TOUCHDOWN #TEXANS! Stroud finds Christian Kirk in the corner of the end zone for a 10-yard TD pass!
Houston leads New England 10-7 early in the second quarter.
#Texans ball! Great job to force a fumble by Maye. Now can Stroud get back on track?
Texans defense now getting after it! Forced fumble moves Pats to their own goal line, offense sets up shop in New England territory.
#Texans settle for a field goal after having a touchdown called back. Patriots lead 7-3 late in the first quarter.
#Texans get burned on a 4th-down blitz, Patriots get a 28-yard TD and take the early lead.
Just hope that was just nerves that got in the way for the #Texans offense, and not a pattern.
The Houston Texans will go into the AFC Divisional Playoff matchup in New England without its top receiver after Nico Collins was ruled out of Sunday’s game. cw39.com/sports/texans-natio…
