You intend on transferring, you sit.
Tennessee HC Josh Heupel spoke with media across the #SEC on Wednesday during the weekly SEC coaches teleconference. I asked him what has been the most difficult part of coaching this season. Heupel: "The hardest thing you encounter is the turnover on your roster, with the transfer portal and NIL, all of those things. I think that's the biggest thing that has changed in the sport. And I think in part because of that, you know, keeping your team together during the duration of the season, the focus of your team, week in, week out, and really as much as anything, day in, day out, to be your best by game day, is the biggest thing that, you know, you got to do a great job of.”

When we get in a 4th and 1 situation against Kensucky…..

Ahhh…. Just prior to “the anomaly of the 90s” 😂 😂
Throwback to this date in 1989: Tennessee’s Carl Pickens with a 93-yard kickoff return for a touchdown at LSU. UT won that game 45-39 and finished the season with an 11-1 record — sharing the SEC championship with Alabama and Auburn.

😂 That caption and a clip where the qb busted the play, not the defense. Heupel is responsible for this. 😂
Defense put up a MASTERCLASS in the 2nd half vs Tennessee, holding the Vols to just 3 points 👏🐔

Anyone have the clip of Heupel standing right there while his WR lined up wrong?

“The penalty thing is overplayed” 3 TDs came off the board because of it.
Replying to @ChadRayVols @DRVawl
We were 2.5 point underdogs at SC. There’s no such things as teams you should beat. Everyone is closer than ever. With that said, we have 4 winnable games in front of us out of the bye and you win those you’re literally competing for championships. The penalty thing is overplayed.

Jay Z? Cool I guess. Nothing against him but could we maybe switch up genres now and then.

Is this just a wild excuse or an indictment on an undisciplined program? Different players, same coach same problems.
Tennessee football fans are understandably suspicious of the refereeing in yesterday's game. Three touchdown passes wiped out by penalties. Here's why we're suspicious: most of us have played and/or watched football for decades. We recognize that penalties often affect your team. But what happened yesterday has never happened in college football history. Never.

“The anomaly of the 90s” Bahahahahaha. All you can do is laugh.
Replying to @damnvol22
The 90s were an anomaly because of our “recruiting network” and the landscape of the sport Anybody who doesn’t realize this isn’t a serious person Take out the anomaly of the 90s and TN averages 8-4 with some 10 win seasons sprinkled in That’s what we are historically

GMac is still learning. What if Heupel had played him last year instead of the guy he knew was leaving? Wouldn’t the extra film/experience help? Hate to question our QB guru….

Beautiful
Another great rendition of the National Anthem at the World Series tonight! And unlike the the American hating lesbians in the WNBA and LeBron James, the Major league Baseball players all stood still and gave respect to our Nation Anthem! 🇺🇸

Dumbest take I keep seeing on this app. Yes people can praise him when he wins and fault him when he loses. We supposed to cuck for him after laying an egg on the road to an inferior team just because he won last week? Beta attitude.
You can’t say “all hail Josh Heupel” after a third-straight home win over Alabama then resort to “man, this guy sucks” one week later. Self-inflicted wounds cost the Vols, and officiating and late-game play-calling didn’t help. Figure it out, fix the mistakes and move on.

This, the margins are thinner. Things like discipline and playing complimentary football on both sides will matter. Something we haven't seen from CJH.
I think we need to recalibrate our idea of what a good CFB team is. Bc the gap between No. 1 and No. 40 has never been smaller. It’s not 2015 anymore.

Impressive. Extend his contract.
Not including today’s games. Since Josh Heupel took over in 2021, no SEC program has committed more penalties. Tennessee: 529 penalties in 72 games
Ole Miss: 523 (2nd) Georgia has played SEVEN more games and has 143 fewer penalties.
