RIP Private First Class John Robert Stovall. With many others, I attended his moving and solemn burial today at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville, IL. He was laid to rest next to his grandparents. 🙏
We thank, recognize, and honor our first responders everyday … but especially today. ❤️💙💛 #firstresponderday #NationalFirstResponderDay

Paid a visit to @ScottAFB ‘s Airman’s Attic this morning with the @lcouncilswil Military Affairs team. More than 150 prepared meals were distributed and lots of meal tokens via the Currency of Caring program. Airman’s Attic provides great resources to the Scott community. Stay tuned… there’s going to be a nice supply drive this holiday season here @WWTRaceway.

Here we go again. Inconsistent weather. It’s the kind that may also cause utility disconnections. So instead of running away, please call your utility company and let them know why you can’t afford to pay this month. HeatUpStLouis.Org and our partners can also help.

Summer of 2026 had extreme weather. If not for the resources @STLFireDept, STL media, area utilities and the generosity of MO/IL residents, it would have been a deadly summer. Winter could be worse. We’re in desperate need of funds at HeatUpStlouis.Org. 26 years of service.
