Leonie & I have been moved to an infection/virus side room now, due to Leonie being violently sick this morning and 18 days of bad diarrhoea; they think it's the antibiotics but they can't stop this and have changed them based on blood results; it's a constant fight to stop the E-coli multiplying back to sepsis!. Still, it didn't stop this morning; this 'they say ' pain ’ might be why Leonie’s heart rate is high & fluctuates a lot even when it's resting HR; it has been high before this and was flagged. Yesterday, Dr Ao mentioned using a high-potency, multi-strain probiotic NG feed called VSL #3, which delivers billions of live bacteria to balance the gut microbiome and support digestive health. The NHS stopped funding this though 2 years ago, and if you read why like we did and what I showed the Dr, I have one person say one thing and NHS info saying another. Leonie’s charity will not fund this as it's classed as a supplement (feed) not a medicine. I also showed him their reply. He then said he will contact gastro to come and see us. I'm waiting for Leonie’s surgeon/consultant to come back off his leave to see what he says. I will need this confirmed in writing. I broke down again yesterday as many things are going on now and it's too much. My poor Leonie, why is everything going wrong for her!! Her body is so weak, she is even saying it to us all, imagine hearing this. 😭 #TeamLeonie 💔
