Just a reminder to anyone who doesn’t know the lore behind cod4 and shipment.
It’s crazy to me to think if the Multiplayer Lead for cod4 just had the thought back in 07 and his job was done correctly.
We would have zero clue what shipment even was or that it even existed.
With recent rumors about MW2 possibly coming to the ports. I’m assuming MW3 will follow with it.
Can we all as a community come together and agree we will not buy any unlock tools, unlock alls, leave games if we see hackers and report them, just don’t support anyone who sells anything on these ports.
I’d hate to see my favorite cod end up like the bo1 port and only last a few months at best.

This could indicate a re-release of MW2 for modern PlayStation consoles.
Note that MW Remastered also got its ratings updated, so it could also be nothing at the moment.

Release the MW2 multiplayer remaster. Update it just like cod 4. Add guns and outfits that fit the theme of the game. Then have seasonal content be new maps or map variants like beach bog was
Take a year or two off and bring back the hype of a new release again

Mark my words. When player counts start to go down, GTA 6 comes out. MW4 will be throwing out a last ditch effort to save its community by saying “oH wE LiStEnED here is OPEN MATCHMAKING” in order to get more players on the game.
