With 3 posts to go on our countdown to the ChangeMakers 10 year celebration event, we are pleased to introduce Bébhinn Mullins who will speak about her change maker journey and her work at the Clonmany Community Centre and the #clonmanycommunitypantry.
Bébhinn spoke about her journey on Highland Radio today, summing up our work together by saying:
''...we have to affect change locally but still think globally...''
#reducefoodwaste #peopleproduceplanet
Through its connection with FoodCloud, two years on from its foundation, the Centre had collected and redistributed over 7000 kg of food (the equivalent of almost 17,000 meals) and has almost 23,000 kg of CO2 savings.
🌱On Day 4 of our ChangeMakers countdown to our 10th Anniversary, we are pleased to announce that Don Smith of the @kissthegroundCA will feature in our seminar on Thursday 9 June in a conversation with Joanne Butler, Development Worker with ChangeMakers & Owner of @OURganicG
Those registered to attend the seminar will have 72 hour access (or just under!) to watch the movie so be sure to register today if you’d like to avail of that.
