My dog could get a degree is social work, party 85% of the 4 yrs & then also be begging the dude in the dozer making 5x their salary to pay off their school loans for them
Imagine being so broken by the big companies in your org demanding dudes be able to get naked in girls locker rooms that you put your entire reputation on the line & endorse a preening jackass like Fluharty who hates your guts and opposes every one of your issues & then - loses
In 2028, Republicans will win back these seats:
Jefferson - 2 (if not all 3 lost)
Kanawha - 1 (St Albans was a fluke, lol)
Mon - 1 (if not 2)
Wood - 1
Fayette - 1
Dems in the House in 2029? 15

Kanawha Co resembled what happened to Repubs nationally. Repub delegates winning there is impressive
Kanawha & Cabell will return to normal come 26. Def counties affected by a low turnout, high enthusiasm gap election. Registration advantage will offset Charleston & Huntington

Biggest House winner yesterday? Has to be JB Akers. That’s a tough district in a good year. To pull out a win in South Hills in a Dem wave year? Impressive. #2 is McNeely. Both are high quality candidates or they are both gone. They’ll now hold those seats as long as they want
The Gov & legislative leaders need to mend fences. & I get it, there is a race in two years where everyone will try to beat everyone. 😂. So what? Get yourselves together for at least one session & get some meat passed. You have some whacky Dems coming in so refocus the cannons.
Republicans need to understand we are electorally the Dems of the 80s and 90s. Low turnout, high enthusiasm gap midterms can get you beat bec it negates your massive voter registration advantage . Look at 94 for Republicans. We will pick up 4-5 of those House seats in 2 yrs.
Looking at the Senate races, WV Republicans should feel good weathering the storm.
The only remotely competitive areas now are 1/5/8/13/17. The other districts were total blowouts.
The House districts need to be rethought next re-districting. Kanawha/Mon/Jefferson need rework
I will say @ChazNuttycombe out of VA was pretty spot on in his polling. I Pooh-poohed him for over sampling urban areas of districts but he was really close. Congrats to him and his work. He definitely upped his street cred with the SD1 and SD8 polling

This is literally the Dems maximum, high water mark. They’ll move up to a whopping 4 in the State Senate, 😂. And what 18 in the House? Literally, wherever the numbers end up, this is the best they will ever do.

I mean, picking Fluharty has to be the most embarrassing endorsement in their history. & that’s saying something. Weird picking a guy that hates your guts doesn’t work out well?
The Fluharty loss has upset the apple cart and will be studied for years. How is it possible that in a big Democrat year a Democrat who is a preening, pompous, blowhard jackass doesn’t win? A conundrum that will puzzle politicial scientists for years to come.
Once again bigoted WVians have turned away a chance for diversity! When the Senate convenes in Jan it will once again not have a person w/a face tattoo.

Republicans were wrong, the blue wave is hitting West Virginia federal races. Instead of ABC calling the Capitol, Moore and Miller races at 7:30, they had to wait until.. 8:00 to call it! A huge win for WV Democrats!
