👏 to the incredible people working to clear the roads, keep infrastructure moving … so many unsung heroes, thank you
Given the amount of snow, @CityofToronto has declared this a major snow storm condition. This will help snow removal operations once snow plowing is complete. For this effort, the City has deployed:
❄️600 road plows
❄️200 salt trucks
❄️360 sidewalk plows

As fashion and media face a reckoning over equality and representation, British Vogue editor-in-chief @Edward_Enninful has become a beacon of change.
Here's how he became the most powerful Black man in fashion ti.me/2K7kDeV
Yes this is a spoiler alert - yet The Queen’s Gambit is magnificent for all these reasons, and more
So loved watching The Queen’s Gambit and reading what Kit Troyer wrote in response to it: "How refreshing to realize a new story is being told, or perhaps an ancient one, being re-told at just the right moment, in just the right way." (Spoilers ahead!) buff.ly/35JRiz5

A project many years in the making coming to life at a time when we need inspiration and beauty, more than ever #dreaming #publicart @OxfordPropGroup
Had a chance to see the new Dreaming three-storey art installation by world-renowned Spanish artist, Jaume Plensa at the Richmond-Adelaide Centre in the heart of the Financial District. I want to thank @OxfordPropGroup for embracing the commitment to public art.
So proud to have played a part in this transformational initiative news24.com/fin24/companies/v… #foodtourism #jobcreation #worldclassdestination
It should never happen. Yet this is how I'd hope to see a response in such heinous times #blacklivesmatter
In several cities, images emerged of police officers joining demonstrators during their protests over the death of George Floyd, marching with them and kneeling in solidarity. One police chief told @ABC "it's a partnership with the community." abcn.ws/3covGIy

This is our 'global winter of discontent'. It's also an opportunity to re-examine priorities, how we lead, and ways organizations collaborate. Your thoughts? medium.com/@andrewfletcherco…

The City has launched an interactive COVID-19 resource map for up-to-date service listings across Toronto, including food banks, meal delivery programs, community health services and more: cot-gcc.maps.arcgis.com/apps…
@JohnTory nature is a mental necessity. Why penalize many for the few who may not distance? Surely there’s an alternative. Virtual does not cut it. Why the whole park? This isn’t logical or okay @blogTO @Mike blogto.com/city/2020/04/toro…
A powerful reminder of why this election matters, so much
