We're facing a national blood crisis — only the second one in our organization’s history. Blood donations have fallen to a four-year summer low, pushing an already strained blood supply to a critical level. We are in dire need of donors to help patients counting on lifesaving blood for emergency surgeries, trauma care, cancer treatment, and other serious medical needs. Just three more donors at each blood drive this summer can end this crisis and stabilize the blood supply. Please don’t wait. Book an appointment to give blood now: rdcrss.org/4x1zf0T

As summer storm season continues, remain safe around fallen trees and debris by knowing who to call. If a fallen tree or branch is completely blocking a road, call 911 immediately. If you see a downed powerline, call 911 immediately. If a public tree is down but not blocking the road (on a sidewalk or shoulder), report it using the CLT+ mobile app or call 311. ⚠️Remember: Never touch downed lines or trees tangled in them, and call 911 to get help. For more information on trees and storms, visit: charlottenc.gov/storms
