I was curious to see if this worked well since I have been starving for Project + matchmaking so I tried it on a whim. Not only it works but it has features that I WISH Slippi had. The only issue I'm seeing is that it was ai vibecoded and reused code (code that was open source)

It functional and could be better, but it works. I would be more against this if it was a paid game that was stolen, but it's a mod. Not only that but BrawlBack literally made money off of it ages ago on patreon so any sense of morality has exited the convo imo.

I have been comparing my experiences FF7 Rebirth and Crimson Desert quite a lot since both games are open world While Crimson Desert had a lot more content and freedom, FF7 Rebirth keeps me hooked far more due to having way better written characters (which is still prefer OG 7)

Even with CD's combat (from the release date of when I played), it almost falls apart due to exploring a lot and becoming too OP. In FF7 Rebirth, I come across challenges and fights that can still kick my ass WHILE 100% all of the side content in every area I visit.

I would go as far as to say that i had more fun experimenting with FF7 Rebirth's combat more than I did with Crimson Desert due to more system mechanics and diverse enemies as well. There is a good chance I will go through CD again due to the recent updates too.

I had plans on getting a friggin GPU but that ship sailed once I saw the 5080 go up $500 fucking dollars the moment Nvidia stated they were not making anymore 5090s. So I got a Switch 2 instead.

I don't know what surprises me more: the fact that Slam Tank lets you execute air combos with a fucking tank or that the controls feel surprisingly smooth and responsive. Yeah, this demo is a lot of fun.
