Ziel ist es, die technologischen Grundlagen für zukünftige Laserwaffen an Bord von Flugzeugen zu schaffen. Der nun erteilte Auftrag sieht vor, dass wesentliche Komponenten des sogenannten Laser-Pods bereits für den späteren Flugbetrieb ausgelegt werden. Damit soll die Machbarkeit einer luftgestützten Laserwaffe geprüft und die Basis für eine künftige Einsatzfähigkeit beim @Team_Luftwaffe gelegt werden. My congratulations to #Indian Navy for successfully executing a meticulously coordinated 48-hour operation to rescue all 20 crew members of the pirated fishing vessel, Azini, more than 3000 km from Mumbai in the Arabian Sea, on 02 Nov 26.
The swift localisation, interception and safe release of the crew and vessel from significantly-armed pirates, with timely support from the Indian Air Force, speak well of the Indian Navy’s high operational readiness and ability to respond decisively to maritime threats across the region.
Our brave personnel have once again demonstrated India’s ability, intent and resolve to safeguard lives, uphold maritime security and ensure stability across the Indian Ocean Region.
India continues to stand resolute in ensuring SAFE SEAS and a free, open and secure Indian Ocean Region.

The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) and the Indian Air Force (IAF) held their 7th Air Staff Talks in New Delhi.
Discussions covered joint exercises, expert personnel exchanges (Subject Matter Expert Exchange, Mobile Training Teams (MTT), officer exchanges, as well as cooperation in education and training.

TNI Angkatan Udara (TNI AU) bersama Indian Air Force (IAF) menggelar 7th Air Staff Talks (AST) pada 27–29 Oktober 2026 di New Delhi, India.
Pertemuan bilateral ini menjadi forum evaluasi kerja sama sekaligus penjajakan peluang kolaborasi baru untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan kapabilitas kedua angkatan udara.
Delegasi TNI AU dipimpin Marsda TNI Mohammad Nurdin selaku Head of Delegation (HoD), mewakili Asisten Operasi Kasau, sedangkan delegasi IAF dipimpin Air Vice Marshal Sanjeev Kumar Taliyan. Kedua delegasi mengevaluasi hasil 6th Air Staff Talks tahun 2025 serta membahas rencana kerja sama periode 2026–2027.
Pembahasan mencakup latihan bersama, pertukaran tenaga ahli (Subject Matter Expert Exchange/SMEE), Mobile Training Team (MTT), pertukaran perwira, serta kerja sama pendidikan dan pelatihan.
Kedua pihak juga membahas rencana penyelenggaraan 8th Air Staff Talks di Indonesia untuk menjaga kesinambungan komunikasi bilateral.

Rare to see forward POV from that era. Interestingly, Mig25 had notoriously terrible forward visibility. That massive nose section made low-alt tracking like this a nightmare.

Ketibaan pesawat FA-50M pertama daripada keseluruhan 18 buah pesawat yang diperoleh dari Korea Selatan di Pangkalan Udara Labuan akan memperkukuh keupayaan tempur udara TUDM, selain menjadi platform latihan bagi melahirkan juruterbang pejuang masa hadapan.
Semoga perolehan ini terus meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan TUDM dalam mempertahankan kedaulatan ruang udara negara.
