So many people using cabin bags and not using the hold, this was bound to happen eventually. Jet 2 are now charging people to guarantee their bags are above them in the overhead locker.
boarding my @British_Airways flight to Belfast from Heathrow and get told that the flight is full and my group has to get their bags tagged and put in the hold. The length of time it took the crew to tag the 7 people in front of me, groups 1-4 had boarded.
