Today, Celeste Rivas Hernandez should be celebrating her 16th birthday. Instead, her family is calling for the DEATH PENALTY for D4vd if he is convicted of her murder. Prosecutors have accused the singer, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, of killing Celeste, whose remains were discovered in a Tesla registered to him. D4vd has pleaded NOT GUILTY, and the allegations against him still have to be proven in court. Now the case raises an even bigger question: If prosecutors prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt, should this be a DEATH PENALTY case? Or should life in prison be the maximum punishment? A mistrial has been declared in the case involving the deaths of Lindsay Clancy’s three children. No conviction. No acquittal. And potentially, no end to this case yet. Now the biggest question shifts from the jury box to the prosecutor’s office: Will they try Lindsay Clancy all over again? This story just took another major turn.

This Lindsay Clancy case is absolutely wild, and the more I learn about it, the more complicated it gets. Three children lost their lives. There’s no real dispute about who killed them. The question is whether severe mental illness can reach a point where someone is no longer legally criminally responsible. I’m curious what everybody honestly thinks: Where should that line be drawn? Does severe psychosis change how you view criminal responsibility in a case like this? Keep it respectful, but I want to hear both sides. 👇
