Yet not a single mention of Van de Ven’s wild lunge at Caicedo.
Unsurprised.
The agenda against Chelsea FC continues.
The five-person Premier League KMI panel reckon the referee Chris Kavanagh made two errors in Chelsea-Tottenham:
🔵 Palmer should have been shown a straight red for charging into Fernandes (3-2 vote, "clear contact to the head as well as unnecessary, dangerous and made with excessive force")
🔵 Spurs should have been awarded an 85th-minute penalty for Caicedo wrestling Solanke (3-2 vote, "persistently holding Solanke whilst facing away from the ball")
But the panel added VAR John Brooks was correct not to intervene in both incidents

The first picture is from Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest on May 4, 2026. Gusto pulled Awoniyi’s shirt while he was attempting to head a cross, and Forest were awarded a penalty.
Fast-forward to today’s Liverpool vs Arsenal game: Gabriel clearly pulled Isak’s shirt in a similar situation, preventing him from getting to the cross, yet VAR refused to award a penalty.
So, what exactly is the standard here? How can two seemingly similar incidents produce completely different decisions?
The inconsistency in Premier League officiating is becoming ridiculous. And Arsenal seem to keep benefiting from these decisions.
We deserve consistency, not selective application of the rules.

Chelsea have now conceded only one 1 goal from open play in the last 5 games.
Our XG conceded in the last 4 PL games is 1.1, down from 2.25 after Brentford.
The goals we have conceded, two were from individual errors, one from a corner, and one on the counter when 1-0 down. The defence is being fixed. And that's without Reece James and Maxcene Lacroix.
We're still scoring goals too. 9 in 4 PL games, as opposed to 10 in 5 up to Brentford.
Xabi is building something.

🚨❌ Serious VAR mistake yesterday in the Chelsea vs. Manchester United match.
📸 Estêvão was NOT offside in the build-up to the hosts' second disallowed goal.

🚨 Virgil van Dijk: “There was a clear penalty for us. VAR doesn’t notice it? There are 50 cameras…”.
“Why does he have to complain when there’s so many cameras? Everyone has seen it. At the end of the day, it wasn’t given so congratulations to Arsenal”.
Not sure Liverpool got a single decision, just so apparently PGMOL favors them. Disgusting football team.

Not being spoken about enough this save. If that goes in, it’s 5 minutes of under the cosh, Chelsea all over the place and god knows what could happen.
Mike Penders this week since Spurs, unbelievable attitude. Fair play.

5 goals and 3 assists in 11 games this season. Keep this rate up he’ll be close to 20 goals and 15 assists.
He set the bar so high in his first season now people expect him to achieve that all the time.

Ya no es raro que siempre se equivoquen en contra del Chelsea, años que todas las decisiones claves van en contra siempre.

Look at this Bruno Fernandes tackle on Acheampong and tell me why referee didn’t give him a RED CARD?
Pro Refs are a joke. They actually want Manchester United to win Chelsea to save Michael Carrick job

Chelsea again, playing against 12. How on earth Bruno Fernandes and Andrey Santos have not been booked is absurd.
