If he left only because of the jets without Godzilla coming back up THAT’d be a bad look. Ghidorah fleeing the moment Godzilla gets back up is supposed to show that Godzilla and humans working together is the key to victory. The movie shows what happens if they fight him alone.

I’ve said it many times to the point I know some of you are sick of hearing it, but my favorite is Monsterverse King Ghidorah. KOTM has lots of problems, but it did Ghidorah wonderfully. Full of personality, destructive and terrifying all in one. I just love this Ghidorah so much
if your only talking point against this movie is this one second line of whispered dialog you can esily miss then you are literally unworthy of my time.
