Amy Huffman filed it after receiving a new EEOC Right to Sue notice tied to DRNX Water, and she wants to add DRNX Water to her federal Title VII claims. The Second Amended Complaint is due by Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

The Court denied Perez's motion for reconsideration, denied the motion to strike the amended complaint, and denied Demoree Hadley's motion for sanctions against Perez. Here is what each one was about 👇🏾 1 (ECF 616) 🚨The Court denied Desiree Perez's motion for reconsideration (ECF 590). Perez asked the Court to undo its Sept 24 order allowing Demoree Hadley to file an amended response to her summary judgment motion, arguing the response was late and counsel did not properly confer first. Reconsideration is denied, so the amended response stays in the case. Paperless order signed by Judge Bloom. 2 (ECF 617) 🚨The Court denied the motion to strike the amended complaint (ECF 474). The Hadleys' motion asked the Court to strike it and also asked for sanctions and fees. Perez's side opposed. In its paperless order, the Court said striking a pleading is a serious sanction and there is not a clear record of delay, bad faith, or fraud on the Court here. Denied. 3 (ECF 618) 🚨The Court denied Demoree Hadley's motion for sanctions against Desiree Perez (ECF 558). The motion argued Perez violated the Court's Aug 13 order on privilege disputes and obstructed her Aug 28 deposition. Perez responded that the order covered only specific topics and that she answered what she was ordered to. The Court found no basis for the relief requested.
