A Horror Comedy by Choni Francis
Director’s Note:
This story came from a wild question I asked myself: What if the hood got hit with a zombie apocalypse. and nobody noticed at first?
That idea spiraled into a short film full of the things I love comedy, horror, family drama, and the unique rhythm of Black neighborhoods.
Black Zombie Movie is a satire, but it’s also a love letter to where I come from and the people who always find a way to survive whether it’s zombies, gentrifiers, or each other.
This trailer is just a taste. The full short is coming soon. I hope you laugh, jump, and most of all, see yourself in it.

I was about to block a man hating women on here for grouping all men together, when I went to her page to block her post they are actually funny, so I ended up following her. Cause I’m not one of the men she is talking about, and you can dog men out online just let it be funny.
How do you inform your friends that you won’t be able to hang out tonight because you’re going to have sex?
Realizing you have to get back out there in a dating world when the person you want doesn’t want you anymore.
Nobody is going to help you do it, but what they will do is watch you do it, and then when it’s doing well they are going to ask you to help them do it, or put them down with it.

The Fact the she also included Black Men in her words shows she gets the bigger picture.
Taylor Townsend has just made history yet refused to stand in the moment alone.
Two black women in the finals. Two black men in the semi-finals. One black woman (Chanda Rubin) who helped make visibility possible.
That is the power of representation. Seeing how one generation’s courage becomes the next generation’s opportunity. Townsend completed the career Grand Slam, but her words made the moment larger than one trophy.
She honored the trail behind her, the excellence surrounding her, and the possibilities now opening for those watching.
