Finally posting my 9-11 Footage to @X - bracing myself for the comments, But this was my honest experience / POV on that fateful day - the view from the ground ( or roof ) at a time when we did not know what was happening, as the city was being shut down and we were trapped on the island of Manhattan, as we thought Sarin Gas attacks were occurring as well, as we thought there would be people in need of blood donors at our hospitals, as no cell phones were working, as my land-line became a life-line for neighbors, as people still thought it was an accident, as people picked up dry cleaning and headed to work unaware what happened, as my friends were told to stay in a subway car parked beneath the towers ( they didn't listen ) as so many things occurred that I witnessed first hand, from people cheering and dancing, to people realizing everyone in their workplace was gone on the day they took an extra day off... it took me 10 years to watch the tape and post on YouTube, it's taken me 14 more years to post it on X. Still processing I guess. I'll shut my trap and let the footage speak for itself. (happy to have @AllieRyanNYC for support and visa versa as this country suffers in different ways today ) #911anniversary

Cool
Everyone said "Hey Grok" was impossible on iPhone. Even Grok said Apple keeps wake words for Siri only. So I kept digging, and I found a way. Now I just say "Hey Grok" and Grok Bot voice chat opens. No extra apps, no cost, all built into iOS. How to set it up: 1. Make sure your Grok Bot app is up to date 2. Shortcuts app → + → Add Action → search "Grok Bot" → pick "Start Voice Chat with Bot" 3. Settings → Accessibility → Vocal Shortcuts → Set Up → pick that shortcut → type "Hey Grok" and say it 3 times 4. In the shortcut's details, turn on "Allow Running When Locked" If your phone is locked, iOS asks for one tap first. If Face ID already unlocked it, it's fully hands-free.

“Disposable Heroes” is one of the longest, most aggressive songs Metallica ever wrote, an eight-minute anti-war assault. This is Germany, 1985, the night they debuted it live, months before Master of Puppets even came out. And it’s one of only three times Cliff Burton ever played it. He’d be gone a year later.

New York City. 1972. The cars. The clothes. The signs. The crowds. The way people carried themselves. It’s amazing how much ordinary life can change in 54 years. What happened?

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers. As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other. Let us remember the extraordinary compassion, resilience and bravery that carried our city through its darkest day. Today, New York remembers. We will Never Forget.

Rescue 1 lost 11 men that morning. They drove toward the towers knowing the math and went in anyway. Their firehouse on 43rd street still runs calls today, same rigs rolling past the same faces who remember. That's the part that stays with me, the ones who went up the stairs while everyone else came down
