Well done @daveontheway and thanks @SuiNetwork for organizing the Creators contest
Replying to @SuiNetwork
Best sponsor and ecosystem spotlight: @daveontheway Dave put on the Sui glasses and interviewed @Chrisrevault at the @CurrentSUI booth: lending markets, yield on $USDC and $SUI, the biggest opportunity on Sui and the 40M TPS record.

Somehow I don't trust 2FAs hardware, should I wait for @kostascrypto and his team to release their solution?

Everyone is talking about Yubikey. Is it really necessary when you already have 2FA with Googke Auth? what about other brands like Thetis?

DeFi is less risky than CeFi. The insurance market prices it that way 👇 Cost to insure your funds with @NexusMutual: • Most DeFi protocols: < 2.5% • Most CEXs: > 4%

Curious what a week looks like for @kostascrypto and the Mysten Labs cryptographers. How does the time split between research, building/tests, discussions...?

Can someone confirm this info?
ok safe to say binance is pwned The biggest assets were approximately: • 1.615B USDT • 62.6M RLUSD • 29,934 wBETH • 11,372 XAUt • 6.19M UNI • 198.4M ENA • 7.175T PEPE • 27.8M USD1 • 2.26M LINK • 127,853 AAVE about $2.5B at the explorer’s prices. 1. The attacker deployed a delegate contract, 0x63e842b0...73e9c6fAe, from the relayer at 15:59 UTC. 2. About four hours later, the relayer submitted an EIP-7702 authorization transaction That installed the malicious 7702 delegate code on Binance 14. 3. The relayer then made a call to Binance 14, executing the delegate code, and transferring Binance 14’s ETH and token balances. 4. The calldata is labeled sweep(address, address[]). The second argument is a list of recognizable token-contract addresses plus the zero-address (eth). 5. The same relayer later used the same delegate to move 780M USDC from Binance Hot Wallet 34 into the same pool • The relayer 0x7C... was funded by three Tornado Cash 0.1 ETH withdrawals over the prior two days. • The same pool also received 28,005.6 ETH from Binance 16 24 seconds after the main sweep. • The pool then forwarded 195,460 ETH to a fresh, unlabeled EOA • That EOA has only one transaction and currently holds the 195,460 ETH. What's a bit unclear is why the relayer was needed in the first place. If they had the private keys to the Binance wallets, they could have just sent the assets out in an atomic bundle without needing a relayer at all. So it seems likely that they didn't have the private keys and instead just had the 7702 auth signatures, which must have been phished somehow. I think we can go ahead and assume DPRK.

is the Binance hack confirmed?
Unconfirmed, but possibly massive binance hack. Entire Binance wallet drained into new EOA. Contract call was funded by Tornado Cash

To put this number in perspective, @CurrentSUI’s annual fee is lower than Curve’s, Upshift’s and Hyperliquid’s, and close to Aave v4’s

We keep improving security and insurance. @NexusMutual now offers insurance cover on @CurrentSUI at a 2.4% annual fee
Security is built over time. Trust is earned. Back in June, Current became the first DeFi protocol on @SuiNetwork to be covered by @NexusMutual, bringing institutional-grade onchain protection to the Sui ecosystem. Today, we're proud to share another milestone. Following Nexus Mutual's latest risk assessment, the annual cover fee for Current has been reduced by 38%. • Annual Cover Fee: 2.4% • Maximum Available Coverage: $4.4M This is more than a reduction in the cost of protection. It's a meaningful recognition of our continued investment in protocol security, rigorous risk management, and proven operational track record. We're committed to making Current one of the most secure places to put capital to work on Sui. And we'll keep earning that trust.

Well done @AlphaTokenHQ and @realtbook ! Tokenized gold is live on Sui: XAUa, issued by @AlphaTokenHQ and distributed onchain by @realtbook, uses the Permissioned Asset Standard.
Hong Kong-regulated tokenized gold is live on Sui, minted with the Permissioned Asset Standard (PAS). XAUa is issued by @AlphaTokenHQ and distributed onchain by @realtbook.

GM CT! Current Points Season 3 is officially here, and it’s time for a new adventure beneath the surface. 🤿 A total reward pool of 86,100 $SUI + 5,000,000 $CRT is up for grabs over 123 days. How it works: 🤿 Earn Current Points through your activity. 🤿 Use your Current Points to mint Goggles NFTs. 🤿 Stake your Goggles. 🤿 Start mining rewards from the 86,100 $SUI + 5,000,000 $CRT reward pool. How Goggles work Current Points are used to mint Goggles NFTs. Once you mint, the required points are permanently burned, while any remaining points continue accumulating toward future mints. The number of points required to mint Goggles decreases each week throughout the season, making them more accessible over time. How rewards are distributed Season 3 follows a liquidity mining model, so your rewards depend on: 🤿 The number of Goggles you have staked. 🤿 How long your Goggles have been staked. The longer you’re in the pool, the more rewards you can potentially accumulate. Why getting in early matters Early participants have two advantages. 🌊 Fewer Goggles competing for rewards can mean a larger share of the pool. ⏳ Earlier staking means more time to accumulate rewards. Important notes • Goggles NFTs cannot be unstaked during Season 3. • $SUI mining rewards can be claimed at the end of the season. • The claiming and distribution mechanism for $CRT rewards will be announced separately and is subject to the final TGE terms. Your Current Points are more than just numbers. They’re your ticket to diving into Season 3 and mining real rewards. Start earning points today, mint your Goggles, and dive in early. 🤿🌊

AI agents need more than logs: they need evidence of what they did and whether they stayed within their authority. VAA, developed by @Mysten_Labs with Google Cloud, keeps records private while making cryptographic proofs verifiable on @WalrusProtocol and coordinated on @SuiNetwork
One of the biggest stories from Sui Basecamp in Singapore: Verifiable Agent Arbiter (VAA), an evidence layer for AI agents being developed by @Mysten_Labs in collaboration with Google Cloud. What was presented and why it matters 👇
