Antivax imbecile makes racist claim that Arabs don't do science to try and stop Oxford Rhodes scholar, PhD, & epidemiologist El-Sayed.
RFK: "There's five hundred million Arabs in the world. And yet they don't produce science. They don't win the Novel Prize. They don't win the Fields Prize. They don't win the Wolf Prize. They don't produce literature."

The voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Marvin the Martian, Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, Pepe Le Pew, Speedy Gonzalez, and so much more. He was tremendously kind and would whip out the voices just to see eyes light up. What an insane career and a massive loss @bauzilla💔

While grocery store shelves remain stocked with honey, the broader reality is that global bee populations are in severe distress. Official endangered designations for several critical bee species have marked a pivotal turning point for global biodiversity, threatening both natural ecosystems and international food security. It is important to note that while not every single bee species faces imminent extinction, numerous primary pollinators have officially been added to environmental protection lists. These vulnerable insects range from the rusty patched bumblebee in North America to various wild honeybee species across Europe. Decades of unmitigated habitat destruction, widespread pesticide overuse, climate disruptions, and devastating disease outbreaks have combined to drive catastrophic population crashes among these native species. By issuing these historic listings, conservation agencies are establishing crucial legal protections that unlock essential government funding, drive massive habitat restoration initiatives, and enforce stricter regulations on harmful agricultural practices. The stakes of this environmental crisis could not be higher for human survival and global economic stability. Pollinators play an indispensable role in global agriculture, contributing hundreds of billions of dollars to crop production every single year. In terms of daily consumption, bees are directly responsible for pollinating roughly one out of every three bites of food that humans eat, including a vast majority of essential fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Because of this profound impact, conservationists emphasize that safeguarding endangered bees is no longer just an environmental aspiration. Instead, protecting these insects has become an urgent, non-negotiable priority to preserve global food security and maintain resilient natural ecosystems nationwide.

We're 27% of the way to having my thyroidectomy funded 🥹 Tysm to everyone who's helped spread the word, who's donated, who's given kind words— it means the world to me 🤍 I'm hoping to schedule the surgery as soon as I possibly can if we meet the goal! throne.com/mileenathemartian…
TLDR: My cancer spread. A year ago, I had surgery to remove half of my thyroid due to Thyroid Cancer. When going for my consultation, I pleaded to have all of it removed, but they advised not to so my thyroid function would be better since the other side had no tumor. Fast forward to a few months ago, a large nodule was noted on a routine ultrasound. Last week, I did an ultrasound guided biopsy and yesterday the path came back— the cancer is now on the remaining thyroid lobe. I need to have it removed. I have insurance and I have met my deductible, HOWEVER, I owe 50% coinsurance, which amounts to $8,764.25. This needs to be paid a week before the surgery. Needless to say, I don't have nearly $9k to just toss at a surgery. I'm also a single mother who would need to arrange child care, have a caretaker for 6 weeks, and have transportation to and from the surgery and such. Last time, it was a nightmare. I wouldn't have gotten through it without my son's father. I'm scared, I'm frustrated for not sticking by what I wanted a year ago, and I am so so so sorry to you all to be asking for your help. If you can spare ANYTHING at all, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you for being so understanding about why I've been keeping to myself yesterday and today. It's been a lot. throne.com/mileenathemartian…
