Browny Igboegwu Maintains Support for Peter Obi, Questions Tinubu’s Achievements
Nollywood actor Browny Igboegwu has maintained his position following the controversy generated by his recent post endorsing Peter Obi, in which he described Obi as the best thing that could happen to Nigeria.
“My last post, where I said Peter Obi is the best thing that can happen to Nigeria and that if you vote for APC, Nigerians will continue to suffer, generated a lot of controversy. However, I still stand by what I said.
“Since President Tinubu assumed office, what has the common man benefited from this government? Instead, it is the political class that seems to be benefiting. All these social media ‘billionaires’ who keep promoting APC, I will come for you all soon,” he said.
He further questioned what had improved in Nigeria under the Tinubu administration, asking whether suffering had reduced and whether electricity supply had become stable.

Police Arrest 14 Suspects Over Att@ck on APC Convoy in Katsina
The Katsina State Police Command has arrested 14 suspects over an attack on a convoy of All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters along the Yashi–Funtua road in Malumfashi Local Government Area, Katsina State.
The incident occurred on Wednesday as the convoy was heading to Funtua for a campaign flag-off ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to the police, the suspected att@ckers, armed with knives and stones, damaged several vehicles and injured a female motorist travelling in a commercial vehicle.
