Suppose a female academic turned up to lecture with an enormous prosthetic phallus on display. Or in blackface? Would the college say 'free expression, nothing to see here.'? This stuff shouldn't be difficult.

.@TrinityOxford, can you reassure me, as a graduate (matriculated 1990), that this man was not permitted to attend the research day dressed in a sexualised way that mocks & demeans women? This constitutes sexual harassment. If @UniofOxford doesn't care about the welfare of /
If “bringing your whole self to work” involves strapping on enormous, fake, ‘comedy’ breasts, a strap-on cock & balls or two silicone buttocks outside your trousers, might I suggest you don’t? Your freedom to “express yourself” does not supersede a student’s right to a serious & focused education, especially if you object, YOU become “a bigot”. Absolutely absurd situation. Go nuts in a nightclub, ffs.

*I realise he is a lecturer at St Hilda's, but he named-checked Trinity and I am deeply concerned he is attending events at my old college dressed in such a sexist way. nitter.cf/jan_murray/status/2115…
🚨 NEW: “St Hilda’s College takes seriously the duty to protect and promote freedom of expression within the law.” The response three female former Oxford University students received - after complaining about male biochemistry lecturer Matt Rattley wearing large prosthetic breasts at work. “We urge you to take immediate action,” they wrote to the college’s principal, Dame Sarah Springman, in May, raising concerns about sexual harassment. A parent and a member of the public who separately raised concerns say they received no reply. Asked how the complaints were handled, both Oxford University and St Hilda’s said they had nothing further to add to their previous statements. I’ve published the correspondence and their responses in [Un]Captured. Link below 👇

Oh, this was great!
Before this year's #Strictly Halloween special let's throw it back to 2025's Halloween special and Lewis & Katya's ICONIC Couples Choice performance to Creep by Radiohead which turns 1 year old tomorrow. 😲 The BEST Couples Choice performance of all time in my opinion. What a moment this was! 👑 👻🎃

As a 17 year old babysitter a child told me she would call Childline if I made her clean her teeth.
For the transactivists who've decided I abused my son, here are the sorts of reasons he said he'd tell the police on me: no to fire-eater at b'day party/£200 football boots/drinking vinegar; requests to pick up towel/put plate in sink/get dressed. He was a kid, arrest me. More /1

As an alumna, I am shocked to see this @UniofOxford. This is clear-cut harassment. Female students should not be exposed to this in lectures or tutorials. It's unprofessional (at best). Please let us know you will take steps to ensure female students are not subjected to this.
“We expect everyone involved in teaching to maintain appropriate professional standards and to treat students with respect.” That was Oxford University's response when [Un]Captured asked about a male tutor wearing giant prosthetic breasts to work. Biochemistry lecturer Matt Rattley has kicked off the autumn term with new photos wearing his infamous ‘norks’ - including one in a lecture theatre with students. The university declined to discuss individual personnel matters. Full story at [Un]Captured 👇

Shocked, I tell you. Shocked.
The Green Party member, Lubna Speitan, behind the “Zionism is racism” motion is close friends with an al-Qaeda terrorist who plotted to bomb passengers landing at Heathrow from Israel. It can now be revealed that Ms Speitan offered to testify in the defence of Minh Quang Pham, jailed in the US for a plot to detonate a backpack filled with shrapnel dipped in rat poison in the airport arrivals lounge. 🔗: telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…

When did it become canonical to claim Heathcliff was black/mixed race? And why are people more wound up about that than the fact a murderous, abusive psychopath has been romanticised? First mixed (actual) hero in Victorian fiction was Ozias Midwinter in Armadale by Collins.

She is smashing it! #TeamHarriet
Harriet is very clever and clearly a fan of the show. Usually when two players have an out of nowhere conflict it’s because they’re BOTH Traitors and she’s clocked it #TheTraitors
