The film weaves together two primary timelines—the late Goryeo dynasty, where Taoists attempt to secure a legendary mystical sword, and modern-day Seoul, where futuristic guards and alien entities clash in high-stakes showdowns involving advanced nano-suits and time-bending hardware.  Visually, the movie is a spectacle. Scenes like the sleek, armored combat in cramped elevators or chaotic modern street battles showcase slick CGI that feels reminiscent of Hollywood blockbuster aesthetics, yet infused with a distinctly Korean flair for kinetic, acrobatic choreography.
