SFDC is claiming they have a new BYOK (Bring your own key) security option. What it really means is "Barely Your Own Key". Fake Security!!!
A 128-Bit symmetrical key is similar strenth to a 3248-Bit asymmetrical key. This is due to partially by not having a public and private key
Did you know that with data encryption, a symmetrical key is actually more secure than an asymmetrical key. This is often misunderstood.
