Mason and his team are getting electric wires put back up on Mahan Drive near Vineland Drive as part of restoration efforts. Sending a big thank you to our linemen and all the support staff for their work!
Damage can occur to a customer's side of the electric connection, too. The City's infrastructure connects to your house, passing through a meter to your service panel. For power to be fully restored, both sides need to be properly functioning. youtu.be/Z8E-OlgbKdM?si=xvuz…

Fallen trees and limbs entangled in power lines add complexity to electric power restoration efforts. It heightens safety risks, especially overnight, during a flood warning with the rain still coming down, limiting visibility. (1/3)
Our highly trained crews from multiple City departments are working in close coordination with one another to safely untangle lines and clear debris, which then allows electric crews to restring wires and make other needed equipment repairs to restore service to customers. (2/3)
