So the opening acts cancelled and his own band quit. Ed Sheeran says hold my beer. 😉
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Ed Sheeran has not performed since his opening acts all canceled on September 17th - his last concert was September 5th and his next will be September 19th. This performance was from his "Loop Tour" earlier the same year. pastdates.edsheeran.com edsheeran.com/#tour

Heather Penney was a 26-year-old F-16 pilot assigned to intercept and crash into United Flight 93 before it reached Washington, DC. She speaks to @skydavidblevins ahead of the 25th anniversary of 9/11. trib.al/GesKAhL

If the average American understood this, I think America would be in a better place.

I have never seen Henry put out post after post after post on this kind of issue before! If this was not Spurs, it would have received a fleeting mention and been left alone. The biased pile on that happens with Spurs continues 🤪
VAR has to make decisions based on the pictures and angles available from broadcast. VAR can’t make calls on what they think happened as that is about probability, subjective not objective. The Neco Williams’ “handball or not handball” story smacks of poor process. This story is ultimately about how football wants to use technology - applying it immediately or open-ended? Waiting 48 hours and searching through picture libraries for an angle that might prove a decision right runs totally against the original intention of VAR. It’s supposed to be swift. It’s not supposed to be extensively, time-consumingly forensic. VAR is in danger of forgetting its remit and losing its way.

This is sick and twisted !! WTF is wrong with these people?!!
🔥🚨 JUST IN — TikTok moms are filming “jokes” about them KI*LLING baby dolls in support of Lindsay Clancy, who killed her three children. They're treating a triple child homicide like a skit. That is not dark humor. That is a death cult.

Genuinely terrible performance .. That's not even a 50m performance 🤦‍♂️
Sandro Tonali vs Newcastle can’t pass, can’t shield the back line, doesn’t score, doesn’t prevent goals. £100M for a midfield passenger 😭 Newcastle took the money AND all 3 points off him at the Lane. 😭😭

Van Der Venn here 👀👀. 🤪
🤯Anthony Elanga scores as he spins off former Newcastle Utd midfielder Sandro Tonali, Spurs’ new £100M summer signing. ⚠️The 3rd goal of the season already, Spurs have conceded owning to an individual error. #THFC | #COYS | #SPURS | #TOTTENHAM | #TOTNEW

This guys just a baiter! Inflates fee numbers and wages to fit his agenda. United fan as well so the hypocrisy is hilarious!
The funniest part of this with no sell on clause to Frankfurt means Tottenham genuinely paid £75m+£10m for Sávio just because they wanted to. It didn't even reduce the Omar Marmoush fee. £382m on Tonali (~£300k), Fernandes (£250k), Sávio, Marmoush (£267k at City) & van Hecke, £240k on a new deal for van de Ven.. just an incredible amount of risk on money that looks poorly invested on paper. Apparently that passes for ambition though.

I do not want to Richarlison play for Spurs again. Bergvall can go .. 50m would be good money for him. Gallagher is best a squad player. Always going to be tough when you've only got 3 starters starting! #COYS

“North London Forever” sing the fans of a club from South London! 😂 Is there a more embarrassing, cringe worthy song ever heard in a football ground? Should have stuck with Jimmy Hill’s ‘Good Old Arsenal’! 😂

What do the new Premier League financial rules mean for your club’s ambitions? Do the new rules benefit the ‘big six’? Is there now a glass ceiling for everyone else? @CWeatherspoon_ runs the numbers and finds that: ■ Had SCR rules been in place for the last 10 years, we estimate there would have been 40 violations. ■ Only two of those ‘breaches’ would have come from a big six club (both from Chelsea). ■ However, no club would have met the threshold for a sporting sanction (docked points). 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/7526260…

Football is hilarious. Spurs spent years losing the likes of Bale, Modrić, Kane, Walker and Berbatov while building a new stadium and growing revenue. Now they can finally afford one huge window with money the club generates — OUTRAGE. City facing 115 charges though? Sound.

Criticism of Spurs from Villa fans is baffling. They literally sold their best players for years, built infrastructure and are now reaping the rewards. If you want to be angry, aim it at corrupt City and a rule breaking Chelsea- not the team we effectively have to emulate. #avfc #thfc

💯.. the way he went after Gray as well at times but left Romero and VdV well alone. Praying in the weaker less established players. Pathetic!
He lost me after this 😡

Here’s a question worth asking. Why did Jason Arday become the focus of extraordinary national and online scrutiny while William O’Reilly, against whom Cambridge upheld a plagiarism complaint, remains a name most people have probably never heard? What explains that difference?
