I just realized the reason the beat for Busta Rhymesโ โTurn It Up/Fire It Up (remix)โ is so incredibly ๐ฅ is because the drums are swung AF and the โKnightriderโ sample is straight. Gonna try to rip off that approach tomorrow.

I love back-to-back electronic tracks that transition from one to the next, and a great example is @Classixx's "Rhythm Santa Clara" and "Dominoes". When "Dominoes" arrives with a solitary bass note, what a Moment.

LA producer and 1/2 of the essential electronic dance duo Classixx, Michael David ventures out under his own name with his new EP Talking Book World that balances balmy, lower tempo lounge music and euphoric digital jazz fusion.

#morningwakeup A far cry from the disco and house feels of @Classixx, but vibing the lo-fi jazz and ethereal aspects of โCoral Sea,โ from #Classixx founding member #MichaelDavid. @orienteer @cascine_ open.spotify.com/album/5YPE1โฆ
Also stoked to announce that somehow this isnโt even the full lineupโฆ ๐คฏ
