Former 4 🌟 prospect & Pacific transfer Carlsheon Young (@Carlsheon_Young ) showed true two-way prowess over the weekend at the Mullen JUCO Jamboree. 💪🏼
High tempo paced, hard-nosed guard who utilizes a quick burst to the rim. Showed off an ability to guard on-ball 90 feet.
Averaged 20 PPG over a couple JUCO Jamborees. Legit talent who will bounce back to the D1 level in a season.
JUCO/D2 players provide great value for CBB teams across the country. Here are our @WTMSportsGroup clients who will be great additions to programs:
- Carlsheon Young
- Ulysses Webb
- Bertran Walthour Jr
- Andrew Wisniewski
- Kevin Obenjo
- Jaiyon Gardner
- Isaiah Smith
Putting in the work. Stacking Good Days! @Carlsheon_Young
CARLSHEON YOUNG | 6’5”
South Plains College | Midwest City, OK
Former Division I — Pacific
EYE CATCHER
Young is a skilled, athletic guard who plays with pace, poise and control. He doesn’t get sped up, showing patience with the ball and a strong feel for reading and leveraging ball-screen situations to create advantages.
He can create for teammates, get into the lane and finish, and knock down shots from the perimeter. Defensively, he shows good awareness and anticipation both on and off the ball.
Young brings a strong pedigree. At Midwest City, he averaged 18.6 points and 5.5 rebounds, led the Bombers to a 5A state championship, and earned State Tournament MVP, District MVP, All-State First Team and Big All-City Player of the Year honors.

Today’s ruling from the judge in Dallas means former ACU guard and WAC DPOTY Rich Smith (@SmithIamrich) would have an additional year of eligibility.
According to the order, if the NCAA wanted to block this decision it would have to go to court and argue their case in front of the judge.
With the new ruling Defensive Player of the Year Rich Smith (@SmithIamrich) has another year of eligibility. He had himself a big time 2 way season for Abilene Christian.
The 6-2 guard averaged 9.9 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 4.7 APG, 1.9 SPG, 50.9% FG.
