If you are a founder or social media manager, there are three types of audiences you should never overlook. Your content must speak to these ones if you want conversions. 1.𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 These people have never heard about your product before. They don't know the problem you're solving. Your goal here is 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍. Don't bombard them with product pictures and announcements. Create content that helps them recognize problems in their industry, relate to their frustrations, and see new possibilities. Examples: «“Why does doing XYZ have to be so stressful?”» «“There's a new technology that helps you do ABC better.”» Content like this helps them start seeing your perspective and eventually move closer to your brand. 2. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 They know you exist, but they aren't convinced or don't trust you yet. Their question is: “Why should I care?” Your goal here is 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐅. Create content that: → Educates them on the outcome of what you do → Shows proof through testimonials, results, case studies and demonstrations → Addresses their objections directly → Shows what makes you different This is how you make people see the value of your product before they even use it. 3. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 They already use your product. And these people are often the most ignored, even though they can become your biggest assets. Your goal here is 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐒. Create content that reinforces their belief in you and gives them more reasons to stay and refer their friends. Show them that your product is valuable. Teach them other useful ways to use it. Spotlight interesting community members. Promote their businesses and whatever they're building. Highlight user-generated content. At this stage, you're not just selling a product. You're building people who believe in the brand enough to keep using it and tell others about it. Once you've learned to create content for all three audiences, you're no longer just posting. You're building a market that understands your problem, believes in your solution, and has a reason to stay.
