What a journey!
Covering the 2026 #FIFAWorldCup was my second World Cup experience, but my first as a FIFA accredited journalist, a milestone I will forever cherish.
However, the journey to the United States was far from straightforward, because of the Ebola outbreak in Uganda, I had to spend 21 days in Tanzania before travelling to the USA.
Those three weeks came with uncertainty, isolation and enormous mental strain, but they also tested my resilience and determination to pursue this dream.
I am deeply grateful to the Ugandan Embassy in Tanzania for the support, guidance and assistance that enabled me to complete the process and eventually travel to the United States.
To everyone who supported me financially, spiritually and emotionally, THANK YOU. Every contribution, prayer, phone call, encouraging message and act of kindness helped me through the testing moments and carried me throughout the tournament.
A special thank you to Azam TV for trusting me with the opportunity to contribute to its World Cup coverage, and to Daily Nation and Sanyu FM for continuing to provide platforms through which I could tell stories from footballβs biggest stage.
To everyone who religiously followed, read, watched, listened to and shared my work on these platforms and across my personal digital channels, your support means more than you may ever know.
It gives purpose to the long journeys, sleepless nights, mental pressure and sacrifices that come with telling these stories.
From spending 21 challenging days in Tanzania to walking into World Cup stadiums as a FIFA accredited journalist, this journey reminded me that no dream is achieved alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this unforgettable chapter.
We did it together.

Rogers Mato was the latest Hearts player to sustain an injury issue - but it is hoped it is not anything serious.
He is due to be seen by the medical team today as he explained why he came off in the first half.

I talked to Hearts manager Wouter Vrancken about Rogers Mato, what he has to do to be a regular and whether he prefers to play him in defence or attack
This was after Hearts 2-2 draw with Ranger at the Tynecastle Park on Wednesday

I caught up with Rogers Mato about his injury after he was substituted against Rangers in Wednesdayβs Scottish Premiership clash.
The good news? It doesnβt appear serious, but further tests on Thursday will determine the exact nature of the problem.

Rogers Mato was forced off in the 32nd minute after going down near the Rangers box.
Medics ruled him unable to continue, with Stephen Kingsley taking his place.

At the Tynecastle Park for @JamTarts vs @RangersFC, an opportunity to watch Rogers Mato today
From what I gather, Mato will be deployed at left back, the team is hit by injury injuries in different departments
