Another tax on the people winning business for Britain. A UK dealmaker's trip: one night in a 4 star London hotel, an Uber to Heathrow business class to New York. Tax bill: £327. Her French rival pays €163 her German rival €79. Time to play fair for business #ToursitTax

If my stats are correct it took @ReadingFC 11 home games to reach 11 goals scored at home last season, this season it has taken 3. Now that’s a tangible improvement!

Can someone @ReadingFC or @reading_buses explain why Mereoak park & ride is £4 return into central Reading but for football fans it’s £7.50 just to the stadium. A 87.5% premium from a captive market. #Profiteering #Ripoffbritain. -#ReadingFC

Replying to @Clivewratten
@Clivewratten is right in challenging the fees that are being applied for drop-off & collecting passengers at airports. Clearly it is being viewed as a revenue stream that unless it's challenged will continually be hiked!

UK Airport Drop-off Fees Petition -Turns out it’s not just me that despises UK airports’ extortionate drop-off fees. Nothing to do with me, but someone has started a petition to ban these charges: petition.parliament.uk/petit… Can get this to 10,000 signatures.?#airportparking

There is no water shortage in the UK. Just a shortage of water management. They want the public to be responsible for managing water rather than doing the job they are very well paid to do.
Since the privatisation of water, not a single English reservoir has been built. Indeed, since privatisation 25 of them have been sold-off for shareholder profit. You couldn’t make this stuff up.

England’s reservoirs at lowest level for a decade, experts call for hosepipe bans. No new reservoirs built since 1989. Over a trillion litres a year lost to leaks. Water companies paid out £85bn in dividends. No regulator/Govt had a national plan. theguardian.com/environment/…

Labour's Employment Rights bill could take us back to the 1970s Labour’s employment rights bill – currently going through Parliament – could send the UK economy over the edge. What we desperately need is to get people back to work to kick-start growth, and shore up what is already a dangerously precarious fiscal situation. At a time when employment is already falling sharply, these anti-business, 1970s-style measures will lead to even less hiring – thwarting growth and further undermining our fragile public finances. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse it does. Truly woeful, 190 minutes of my life I won’t bet back watching this crap over last 2 matches. What happened to exciting football oh yea Spain, Portugal, Belgium & Wales do that & we don’t. #ENGSEN
