I turn 47 today, and I've been thinking about some of the things life has taught me so far. I definitely don't have everything figured out. But I know this… No one is coming to save you. Once you accept that, you stop waiting and wishing, and start taking responsibility for your life. The best investment you'll ever make isn't in stocks, real estate, or a business. It's in yourself. The more you learn, the more valuable you become, and nobody can take that away from you. Discipline is probably the most important skill you can develop. You become what you think about. The good news is you can choose your thoughts. That's a skill you can develop. You become your habits. The little things you do every day eventually become your life. Protect what you allow yourself to consume and the people you allow around you. Both are shaping the person you're becoming. Failure isn't the opposite of success. It's part of the process. Most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a month and underestimate what they can accomplish in five years. Take care of your health. Without it, everything else becomes harder. Time is your most valuable asset. Spend it on the people and things that actually matter. Protect your standards. Be careful who you spend your time with. Learn to say no. You don't have to do everything. Make time to rest. Make time to think. Some of the best decisions you'll ever make happen when you slow down. Money can make life easier. You need it. But after a certain point, you have to balance out the time you spend earning money with the time you spend LIVING. I’ve NEVER regretted spending money and time on travel. Happiness isn't something you stumble across. It's something you build. To be the man your family, friends, and community need, you have to keep investing in yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially. That takes prioritizing yourself. Happiness, not money, is the real measure of success. Here's to another year of learning, building, and becoming better.

Brock Purdy is good. Time to move on from that discussion.

I’m 47 and have met many people, including highly talented but lazy ones who never reached their potential. The most successful people I know aren’t the most talented; they grind relentlessly toward their goals every day. Greatness is rare and happens only when talent meets work ethic.

Y'all have a great day! Keep up the good fight. Life does get hard, but we only have one as far as we know, so don't waste it.

It’s not easy being a good husband, father, provider, and basketball coach, while finding time to work out, eat right, and work toward my doctorate, all while running my real estate and mortgage businesses. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Nothing worthwhile comes easy. My education is an investment in my future, and I’m excited about what I’m building on several fronts. I’ll simplify things in a couple of years. The goal is to become the best version of myself before I turn 50, but for now, this is the mission: wake up at 5 AM, put in the work, and keep moving forward. I’m passionate about everything I do, and I’m prepared for the challenges that come with it. My teams and I are ready for whatever lies ahead. So if you need help buying, selling, or financing real estate anywhere in California, please reach out anytime. I truly appreciate your support! 💯 🏡🏀👨‍🎓🏃‍♂️

I understand the rules. I think it’s dumb. Should be a catch. Let’s stop over thinking it.
How is this not a fucking touchdown?

The 49ers biggest weakness over 8 quarters hasn’t been injury. It’s been turnovers and penalties.

This guy knows ball unfortunately
Love this 49ers season. This team has potential to win it all. Need WRs to get healthy. That being said, I would not be surprised if they drop one of these next two games. Injuries are mounting and last week was extremely undisciplined compared to previous games. Eddy P has been sketch. It’s a long season and I don’t expect perfection or 17-0. There will be ups and downs. But the play of Brock and the defense, has me feeling like a SB win is possible for sure this year.

That **2009 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher** was a lyrical masterclass Black Thought, Eminem, and Mos Def all bringing their own kind of fire. No gimmicks, just bars and presence. 🎤 Who had the verse of the night?
