There’s never been a more important time to do this. Thanks to all of the election workers for their time & effort.
Good read on coaching methods.

"Worry is a waste of time.
That's thinking about the future and you have to stay in the now.
Prepare for today and be aware of what it means for tomorrow."
The best way to take care of tomorrow is to take care of today.
Great read from @BFQuinn on the end of an era.

16 years ago…what a journey it has been. So many good days, some bad days, but overall it’s a blessing to still be here and living a life of purpose. Thank you to you all for your support, I can’t do this alone

Great moment.
Michigan State journalism student Elliott Hammon still has the video Tom Izzo sent him before his brain tumor surgery four and a half years ago.
Hammon brought it up during Izzo’s press conference and asked how it impacts him knowing he means so much to people.
Izzo’s full response:
“It’s better than winning.”
“What people think of you, how you can inspire people. I mean, that’s why I’m here. Some people jump around and go to different jobs. I want to be a part of the fabric of this place, and I want to be a guy that people can come to.
“If that tape, or that video, or phone call helped you… (pounds chest) that’s awesome.”

Great article from @NicoleAuerbach on 2 big time coaches & a high level AD
The same man hired both Curt Cignetti and Bob Chesney at JMU.
So, I called him up.

Steve Pikiell wants to use his cancer diagnosis to help others — and is putting $250,000 of his own money toward the cause. Is there anything more Pikiellesque than that? Column:

Spoke with Steve Pikiell about his cancer fight, inspirational supporters, returning to the sidelines, and the new 'Rutgers Tough' campaign he kickstarted with a $250,000 donation to the Rutgers Cancer Institute. Extraordinary stuff:

Congrats to @TCorrigan21 on his new job at his Alma Mater. One of the best players that I had the opportunity to coach at Kean. Tim is as loyal as they come, St. Joe’s hit a home run with Tim on & off the court.

Terrific article for coaches. The impact you can have on people is immeasurable, even if you don’t coach them.
One of the most important people in Jacoby Brissett’s life is Bill Parcells.
The two have been close for almost 20 years.
“I had three daughters,” Parcells told me. “He’s like a son.”
My story on Brissett, Parcells, football, life, lunches and love.

6. People become what the room expects of them.
If the room lets a standard slide, it slides.
If the room corrects the small thing every single day, people stop believing small things are small.
My goal is to build an environment where success is inevitable.
Terrific article by @BFQuinn . Great reminder that we don’t always know what someone is going thru & that we need to check-in on friends & family
This story is a credit to @D_Bo20 and the Robinson Family. They want to tell you about Eli. They're hoping it helps others.
It's worth remembering: “Maybe we can all be a little less certain about knowing what someone is going through."

Please consider donating to my brother Coach Fruscio who is battling a health crisis. There are many additional costs in a situation like this. He has affected the lives of so many and this is a chance for many of us to reciprocate. gofundme.com/f/support-coach…
