The Chuck Schwartz webinar/slides are uploaded.
Watch it before your next practice- tons of things you can use tomorrow that have nothing to do with workouts.
1000% recommend this one- GREAT STUFF 👉

I love to see how training intensities relate. This is a theoretical lactate curve with training intensities placed on it as a way to give kids awareness of where different types of workouts fall in regard to common races paces.
As the end of the season comes near, get more pace-specific, but don't stray too far away from the basics.

An illustration representing some of the different intensities you likely use in training. Each of the intensities on the chart are represented in the Coaching Distance Training Intensity Calculator. coachingdistance.com/calcula…
💡Every intensity has value, but the dosage matters.
💡When and where you place emphasis matters.
💡 It 100% does not have to be perfect (this isn't)
💡 There's value in using race pace terms with your athletes over physiological jargon.
💡 There are aren't "cut-offs" or "gray zones"; everything does something.
💡 You can run slow as hell on easy days and still race fast if you're putting in a variety of specific work.
💡 Supportive Training is at the base of the chart because it's the glue that holds everything together.
