Joe Rudolph - Notre Dame, O-Line
On pin and pull, start with the tailback.
His alignment affects how you block the edge, how the pullers fit, and whether he can stay tight to the second puller.
“No cut’s the best cut.”

Teach triggers, not memorization.
Linebacker location changes the combo.
Adjust the fit to the picture.
Key the near knee.
It tells you when the block is coming to you.
Protect the threatened gap.
Let the front dictate the call.
Simple coaching cues create fast decisions.
One good trigger can change a player's game.

Flexibility is one of the most underrated traits for offensive linemen at all levels of football. It isn’t just about increasing range of motion, it’s about developing the ability to consistently play with proper bend, leverage, balance, and body control on every snap
Whether you’re playing youth, high school, college, or professional football, offensive linemen who move efficiently through their hips, knees, ankles, and upper body are better equipped to anchor against power, redirect versus movement, recover when initially beaten, and generate force in the run game without sacrificing technique
As the level of competition increases, movement quality becomes just as important as size and strength. Flexibility provides the foundation for sound technique, consistent execution, and long-term development, allowing offensive linemen to maximize every physical trait they possess throughout their careers
