#Titans head coach Robert Saleh gave one of the most INCREDIBLE explanations of defensive football youever hear during a press conference.
For nearly 7 minutes, Saleh broke down his defensive philosophy, why his system is so difficult to master, and how it produces ELITE defenses.
He discussed learning from Pete Carroll, Vic Fangio, and Monte Kiffin, while explaining why understanding an offense is more important than simply knowing your assignment.
Robert Saleh is one of the BRIGHTEST defensive minds in football.
This is a MASTERCLASS in coaching.

Do you know your assignment? Or do you KNOW that you know your assignment.
That’s UNDERSTANDING. Big difference. A winning difference.

Nick Saban on coachability and accountability. 🥇
“When a coach is talking to you, he is teaching you something, you should be looking at him… be responsible for you own self determination, that’s accountability.”

Zrnich went 13-13 over four seasons as the Wright State head coach from 2022-25.
His best season came in 2024, when the Raiders went 6-2 and narrowly missed qualifying for @TheNCFA semifinals.
I agree coach! Allows you to rep more as a defensive unit as well! Bracket reps, zone reps, REALISTIC GAME REPS !!!

Every HC should make every coaching candidate take a standardized football test & teach an Indy period for the position they’re applying for before they get hired…. Youth, Middle, High school, College, NFL.

It IS a Head Coaches job to help a player get recruited. It is also our job to make sure those not being recruited have a plan (trade school, college, military, etc.)
Don’t talk about caring about your kids…actually care.
