Few stats from 2026.
Nana Sakyi - 1005 receiving yards and 13 TDs in 11 games.
Joe Haylock - 2573 yards from scrimmage (917 rushing, 1656 passing) and 31 combined TD’s!
Fumbles down to 6 in 2026 from 14 in 2025.
18 interceptions compared to 10 in 2025 (5 by Ryan Caley)
Well that was a crazy game. Defensive battle against a very good Plymouth Vanguard team.
National championship bound!
This Sunday, 10 months of work, countless hours of film, meetings, planning and lost sleep comes to a head when we take on Plymouth Vanguard at home to crown the southern champions! Time to lock in and #EARNIT
Why is league republic such a horrible website to update! Give us the ability to upload a csv and more teams will probably upload their stats!
Well 8-0 feels a bit meh today! 3 self officiated games this season, 2 with zero issue and then yesterday! If that’s how they want to operate then let them do it but our coaches did the best they could and to do a double header is a hell of an ask! At least Cambridge had 7 refs!
Looking at season stats after 6 games. Defence solid, 16 sacks, 13 picks and only 7.67ppg allowed. Offence 1300 passing yards to 866 rushing. But one player jumps out. 22 catches for 693 yards and 10 TD’s! We were very lucky to pick this young man up in the offseason! 2 to go!
2-0, 0 points conceded so far. Only 1 first down given up today. 4 picks, 3 FF’s 1 recovered. Good day at the office for defence. 30-0 W! 2 down 6 to go! More to come!
And just like that another season is upon us. Second full season as head coach, new OC, new players, same old injury bug losing a big defensive piece yesterday! Let’s see where we end this season! We have the talent to go far, but talent without effort means nothing
From 12 unbeaten to playing like a team who had a couple of beers and a chuck around in the carpark. No leadership from Itjoe and a back line limper than an impotence clinic. Might be time up for Borthwick and co #ITAvENG #SixNations2026
First pre season gym session with the team in the books. Good session and lots of hard work put in. Some good numbers too!
I can’t be the only one who thinks starting preseason in September for a league that starts in April is a good idea! Some teams are 3 weeks in! I’m enjoying the rest and being a dad 7 days a week! Britball will britball though
And just like that our season is over. First as HC and what a ride!
We added some real quality people not just players and the future looks bright for us.
Now to recharge the batteries and be a parent 7 days a week not just 6 and a bit!
It was wet, it wasn’t pretty at times but we finished our season with a 24-0 win against Norwich. Cheeky shut out to end the season with players playing in new positions.
On to Hereford next week for our first play off game since 2019. Oh and our first winning season since 2018!
Wonder if the FA will decide to change the structure of the playoffs pre season and then change the playoff date mid season after people have booked holidays etc…. No just BAFA then!
