Day 3 at Hutch. The stage only gets bigger.
Top performers stepped up at Hutch, delivering when it mattered most and proving why this is the highest level of JUCO basketball.

My plan was to come back from Norfolk with 2 championship trophies, but the regular season conference championship trophy will do, for now……
Making it to the NCAA tournament and winning the conference tournament was our major goal we was 1 point away. What an experience thanks @HCEmartinSCSU for giving me an opportunity to learn the business at this level.

Great Coach and an even better dude! Salute Bernie
When it was no longer in doubt, SC State would be a MEAC champ, I saw a tear stream down asst. coach & Wando HS grad Bernie Coaxum’s face.
"Bernie was getting emotional but he was here the first year when we were getting knocked upside the head so I totally understand what he felt” says HC @HCEmartinSCSU
It’s been quite a ride, quite a path to this March for a guy who was coaching tiny school SCISA ball a few years ago.
