All glory to God. After a lot of hard work, sacrifices, and staying down through the process, I’m blessed to announce my commitment to Millikin University to continue my academic and football career. @CoachBurket @CoachTayJr

Mike Brown shares a simple but powerful definition of winning in life.
"Even if you don't have the quote unquote ultimate success that you think you deserve - if you get knocked down in life and you're able to get back up and keep fighting - that's a fricking win."
"Most of our guys have probably had to go through that. But I think most people in the world have to go through it."
Success isn't always the result - sometimes it's just refusing to stay down.
It's choosing to endure, get back up, and keep fighting.
Successful people are relentless.

"Guys wanna to play more?
When you get your chance, you better be ready.
And at practice, you better earn minutes.
Young kids don't come from that... they haven't had to earn minutes."
You don't get what you wish for, you achieve what you've trained for.
Your outcomes are a direct result of your efforts.

I’ve never understood kids thinking you want to change their position for ANY reason other than their own benefit.
A coach asking you to change positions is one of the best things that can happen to you - it means they see something in you and have a plan for you! – at Buckhannon, WV
