Gonna miss this man. Great leader and a true gentleman who always had time for everyone. Not many like June Jones. RIP Coach. 🙏

Marc’s new book:
EXCLUSIVE: NFL Coach and Author Marc Trestman
"The best memory I have was in 2013, when I was with Chicago and we beat the Steelers. I was in our locker room getting dressed when Art Rooney Sr. came in to congratulate me. I don't know why he did that. It was an incredible feeling - that he took the time to come into our locker room to do that."

Prayers to the Amato family today. Even though Coach is no longer with us, he left behind lessons, memories, and stories to so many players and coaches over the years. That part of Coach will live on through all of us. He didn't always know how to show it, but later on I realized he not only believed in working harder than everybody else, he also cared more than anybody else! RIP Coach Amato, you'll be missed but never forgotten. #ncstate #wolfpack #ncstatefb
Coach hadn’t been invited to Halas Hall in 19 years. He spoke to team at practice. So authentic, so vulnerable. Tough guy image who led with his heart. A friend, had my back, I am grateful . On MD Night 12/9/13, in sub-zero weather, his jersey retired. Bears 45 CBs 28 RIP coach!
My friend of 45 years, read my 600-page manuscript, gave feedback and encouragement with handwritten “RED INK” notes that motivated me to finish the job!Thank you, Ernie, for your guidance and friendship. You were an “ultimate” teacher of the game for me and so many others! RIP

The book has a resurfaced in the QB room in LA! As @jimharbaugh will attest, Justin’s football skills are obvious to all. But work ethic, humility, vulnerability, and self-awareness makes him the ultimate teammate. Both are great teachers of the game.

My Cleveland Browns QB room! What a thrill to see Gary Danielson after so many years, and Bernie! Both looking great and both were significant contributors to teaching me the game!

So cool to cross paths @CanesFootball practice with one of my original mentors and a Hall of Fame “teacher of the game”, @JimmyJohnson . The longer I coached, the more I would reflect on his football and leadership lessons that impacted me and those I coached along the way.
The opportunity to Coach in Montreal was the ultimate privilege! Great players -great coaches-magnificent people-in a beautiful city. The joy of a lifetime! I will forever be grateful!
