Congrats Rhet! Was always a joy to be around. A Damn good Hoosier. 🤍❤️
"There's no Indiana women's basketball success without Coach Rhet."
Rhet Wierzba, who has been battling a brain tumor since 2024, is the 2026 Pat Summitt Most Courageous Award winner.
We featured the @IndianaWBB associate head coach earlier this season.

John Thompson kept a deflated basketball on his office desk. He always told his players:
“ A basketball is useless without 9 lbs of air. Do you want to pin your future on 9 lbs of air. Make sure when basketball is over, you have your degree. Get an Education. “

Big Reese!!
What an honor it was to be there to see @alexxreese18 be recognized for his career achievements with @ripcityremix
But the best part for his old coach to hear was everyone saying what a great teammate he is. Makes the right play. Makes others better around him. #winner

Kel’el Ware and Coach Spo on Ware making the Rising Stars game:
Ware: I would say it feels good… it’ll be fun to be apart of with a group like that where everyone is on top of their game… it’ll be a fun experience
Spo: We congratulated him before practice. I think it’s a good thing. I think anytime you can go out and see greatness it’s a fun weekend

Been through some tough times and great times with @AntoinePettway so I know who he is when adversity hits. Word to the wise, when you challenge a warrior a warrior responds. If you don’t know his story look him up and you’ll understand why he is successful. ✊🏾
It’s a honor @SilverWaveMedia thank you!
Congratulations to Yasir Rosemond of @OregonMBB on being selected to the 2026 100 Most Impactful High Major Assistants list.
