Hi parents, please remind your children to respect playgrounds, football pitches and property in general. These spaces are for everyone to enjoy, and damaging them spoils that for others.
Thank you for your support. 👍
🎃 Have a safe and happy Halloween! 👻

If you were listening to the sports bulletin on Morning Ireland you mightn’t be aware that the biggest match of the season is taking place in Tallaght tonight. It didn’t merit a mention. “We focus on Irish sport” Indeed. 🧐
Anyone know why players are showing as ‘N/A’ on the team sheets in FAI Connect? @LSLLeague @hitthechannels @AlQuinn2015 @FAIreland
There should be one body that organises the vetting & you should have to re apply everywhere. Instead of having to apply through numerous organisations. Reapplying should only be a matter of hitting a button and confirming your record is clean & no changes to your profile details
‘FAI to stand down thousands of coaches over vetting and safeguarding gaps’. The greatest scandal yet, and they knew. Oireachtas, Reload😱🤯

The illusion of professionalism - when a football system designed to serve children starts serving itself - What kind of sporting culture do we want to create for our children?

In 10,000 years of early years football, kids swarming around the ball has not been solved by shouting at them to “spread out” or “stop bunching”
The ball is the best toy and the biggest attractor for them. They learn spatial skills and cooperation later.
The solution is to reduce the complexity - in simple terms - smaller games with reduced number of players.
One 8v8 is four 2v2s that actually benefits players. More touches, goals, dribbles, passes, movement, activity, engagement. The list is endless
