It doesn’t matter how good you were in high school. In college, everyone is good, so you must work even harder than before!
Incredibly proud of 2026’s heading off on their journey to play.
Doesn’t matter where you play. Go be YOU, stand out, outwork & dominate classroom. Lock in!
Truth is 1/4 of your roster is already looking to leave or quit. (Including the coach)

Professor/Coach Thoughts 🎓🥎
Students who consistently log in, meet deadlines, and do the work usually succeed. Funny how those same habits also lead to success on the softball field.
It’s always been interesting to watch these colleges hire young coaches to lead softball programs.
Just because a player played doesn’t mean the player can coach & lead 20+ young women, recruit, mentor and build a business…yes I said business.
Always been an interesting dynamic.
Just because you played doesn’t mean you can coach and or lead young athlete.
Teams market to playing experience to recruit players to new teams yet think that the same playing experience echoes to great coaching.
Thoughts?

Males play men's sports.
Females play women's sports.
This shouldn't be controversial or political. Biology is not bigotry.

Morning Coach’s Thought:
Players develop at different rates which is why I believe in JUCO. I think the new 5/5 model will make the JUCO route even more valuable for a lot of athletes. It’s about chasing the right opportunity.
I feel like Softball Jesus is talking to everyone posting today.
Absolute freaking dimes being shared.
Good stuff @CoachLisle
@EASRecruiting
Slowpitch great for school spirit & participation.
It’s an absolute WASTE of time if you’re an ++ baller & or Elite.
And, if you’re my kid, you talked me into playing, I’m forcing you to go oppo all day!
Whew. Watching these swings and approach go to #%^#

There’s a reason Paul Skenes resonates with so many people.
Baseball fans respect the talent.
Americans respect the patriotism.
Service members respect the path he almost took.
Originally, America was getting a soldier.
Instead, it got an ace. 🫡 🇺🇸
Work hard.
Play hard.
Get recruited.
Then ⬇️
Take off/lighten load SR year of Travel/HS
Decrease reps & live action.
Result:
Behind 80% + of the roster in college
Always playing catch up.
Miserable, quit, portal, quit again.
Not a great plan. Yet I witness daily.

Bracket cut us short today, but @GAP_Mccormack had a great run through pool play. Had a day defensively behind the dish with lots of blocks and frames to support my pitchers! One more weekend with these amazing girls 🫶

@GAP_Mccormack had a great weekend at Atlanta Legacy! Team took multiple wins with some gritty pitching from @GraciPederson! I hit .667 this weekend with a 100% QAB along with 2 RBIs. Additionally I was able to contribute to some key plays with a stolen base and a stand up double

First day of Legacy got cut short by the weather, but I still got in some good work behind the plate! Did my job moving runners. Back at it tomorrow at 4:20pm!
