I've been a big fan of @SourcegraphCody for a while, but adding entire folders to the chat is a pain when they only support adding files. So, I built a VSCode extension to make it easier 😼. Now you can add entire folders with one click. Install here: dub.sh/codyplpl-vscode

Received a warning that my GitHub access token was exposed in the @CodyPlusPlus extension (big thanks, Rami!). TIL: If you are developing a VSCode extension, putting ⁠a file in ⁠.gitignore doesn't exclude it from being bundled. Must use ⁠.vscodeignore! Lesson learned.

My friend needed an AI assistant, so I recommended the awesome combo of @SourcegraphCody + @CodyPlusPlus (custom commands FTW!). But she got stuck! Turns out the blank page was a bit confusing. Lesson learned: even simple things like a welcome text can make a big difference!
