BREAKING:
MS NOW, CNN, and Politico have amended their press access lawsuit against the Trump admin — now asking a federal judge to permanently restore their access, not just to the White House but to other areas including the Oval Office and Air Force One. ms.now/news/ms-now-cnn-and-p…
Always sneaking other things into bills.
Brodeur backed an amendment quietly tacked on to a land-use bill that would have gutted Seminole’s rural boundary and weakened local governments’ ability to control growth. orlandosentinel.com/2026/10/…

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.
Hegseth needs to be impeached

Replying to @marceelias
Now why weren’t they asking this in the past cycles when the GOP was winning??
Thus the pattern holds:
Any election we win is fine
Any election we lose there is fraud
Hmmm
Trillions of dollars when is enough enough
Inside the breakdown of Trump’s $1.5 trillion Pentagon plan
There’s still time for a deal. But as the midterms approach, frustration over Iran — and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth — has stymied the president’s agenda.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's $1.5 trillion defense budget faces bipartisan resistance in Congress, with lawmakers citing his adversarial approach and the administration's exclusion of Democrats from briefings. The impasse threatens military readiness amid the ongoing conflict with Iran. Hegseth's strained relations with Congress may lead to an impeachment vote, while Democrats prepare for increased oversight if they regain control of the House.

Cities are banning data centers. Trump's workaround? Build them on federal land.
A city's ban likely can't touch it. A Stanford law professor says developers are "trying to get onto federal property to get a shield from local opposition."
Read that again. A shield from the people who live there.
And Trump is helping. He ordered Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to find military sites for data centers.
San Diego just voted unanimously to pause new data centers for 45 days. It doesn't touch a Navy site where a developer has floated a 400-megawatt one, because that's federal land. The developer says nothing is final.
The Army wants one at Fort Bliss, Texas, that would need more power than all of El Paso Electric can generate. Its own paperwork rates El Paso's water risk "extremely high."
In Utah, the Army picked CyrusOne, a Dallas data center company, for Dugway Proving Ground. The Skull Valley Band of Goshute Indians, 134 members, says it has no other source of water. The tribe says the data center would dump up to 250,000 gallons a day of salt-heavy wastewater into wetlands and elsewhere.
Into wetlands! What happens to the wildlife that lives there?
A new CNBC poll asked voters about an AI data center within 10 miles of their home. 63% said they'd oppose it. Only 13% said they'd support it.
Cities said no. So Trump found land where they can't stop it, and he's doing it right out in the open.
Tell Congress to ban AI data centers on federal land. Link is in the first reply.

For those of us that believe in Climate Change
In total, since taking office again, Mr. Trump exempted 202 facilities in 39 states and Puerto Rico from clean-air regulations that were going into effect. Some were among the country’s worst industrial polluters, including chemical manufacturers, copper smelters and coal-burning power plants. About 3.3 million people live within three miles of at least one affected facility.

A waste of $46 billion of tax payers money. My question is will that money actually go towards that if pasted? What other things will they add to it?
The Trump administration’s top border official defended plans to build a wall and other infrastructure in Texas’ Big Bend region despite mounting opposition against the project and a court-ordered pause on construction, saying his goal of fortifying the country’s borders was “non-negotiable.”
In an exclusive interview with The Associated Press, Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott argued that the $46 billion wall project was justified despite a bipartisan coalition of landowners, local businesses and environmentalists who view it as a waste of taxpayer money that could be destructive to a region with historically low migrant crossings.

The Justice Department is sharply intensifying efforts to intervene in the midterm elections, goaded by a president unfettered by even the limited restraints of his first term.
The next several weeks represent a critical moment for federal law enforcement, a test of whether a department repurposed by President Trump as an instrument of unmediated executive power will be effectively mobilized as a guarantor of his political power.
In recent weeks, the department has taken several new steps, including an extraordinary effort to invalidate any potential Democratic victory in the Alaska Senate race, that reflect Mr. Trump’s growing agitation as his party faces the possibility of losing control of Congress precipitated by his sagging popularity.

BREAKING: Donald Trump is reportedly furious after seeing the clip of Barack Obama making fun of him, not because of the joke about his decor style being a mix of Saddam and the Cheesecake Factory, but because the crowd is 20x the crowd he can get even when paying the attendees.
