UPDATE: Total compromised assets in the Binance hack amounts to $6.3B, marking the largest crypto heist ever.
About $3B is frozen so far as Binance reconfirms it will cover all losses with its SAFU fund and company funds.
Meanwhile, onchain data shows funds from this hack and the $388M Bitget hack landed at the same address, pointing to the same attacker.

Thank you, Satoshi 🙏
HISTORY: October 31, 2008. The day that changed finance forever.
18 years ago, an anonymous creator known as Satoshi Nakamoto introduced Bitcoin through a nine-page whitepaper titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.”
The paper outlined a new way to send money directly between people online, without relying on banks or other financial intermediaries.
Since then, Bitcoin’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.
🔸 2009: The first Bitcoin block was mined.
🔸 2010: 10,000 $BTC bought two pizzas.
🔸 2013: Bitcoin crossed the $1,000 milestone for the first time.
🔸 2017: BTC surged close to $20,000, bringing global attention.
🔸 2021: El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender.
🔸 2021: Bitcoin reached nearly $69,000.
🔸 2024: US spot Bitcoin ETFs were approved, and BTC crossed $100,000 for the first time.
🔸 2025: The US established a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, and Bitcoin reached a new ATH above $126,000.
Through exchange collapses, market crashes, regulatory battles and four halvings, Bitcoin continued to stand its ground.
Satoshi disappeared, but the network kept growing.
18 years later, what began as a whitepaper has evolved into a global financial force. 🧡
Nearly $800 million in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF outflows hit the market in a single day.
After four consecutive sessions of positive Bitcoin ETF inflows, investors withdrew $643 million from Bitcoin funds and another $156 million from Ethereum products.
