Bitcoin traders are now trading stocks at 3 am instead of meme coins 😂
I didn’t expect TradFi to grow this fast on crypto exchanges.
TokenInsight’s Q3 report shows $2.1T in TradFi perp volume in one quarter, and 77% of it was stocks. Memory chip names led the way, which makes sense with all the AI noise lately.
What stands out to me is how traders are using it. People who’ve traded BTC for years can now trade gold, silver and NVDA from the same account, any time of day. No new broker, no waiting for the market to open.
Binance still leads by a mile. But @MEXC caught my eye. It’s #2 in commodity perps with 17.43%, #2 in both gold and silver, and its equity share nearly doubled in one quarter to 7.28%.
My honest concern is leverage. Stock perps move hard on earnings, and a lot of crypto traders aren’t used to that. Size small until you know how these markets behave.
I think this keeps growing. Crypto exchanges are slowly becoming places to trade everything.
Bringing stablecoin payments and tokenised asset trading into one app is an interesting move. This could make QXMP Mint much more than just another wallet. 👀
