The Saban documentary mentions all of his former coaches who have won championships except me. When I was head coach at Tennessee State University in 1998 and 1999 we won the Ohio Valley Conference championship - the 1st HBCU to win a championship in a majority conference.

My first meeting with the Tennessee State alumni association, telling them how we were going to win at Tennessee State University the plan. this is why some coaches take over programs and don’t have a plan. You need to have a plan for life or you will not be successful.
