A rare 14-karat gold LEGO piece found at Goodwill is up for auction!
The Bionicle Golden Kanohi Hau Mask turned up at a Goodwill warehouse in DuBois, Pennsylvania, and it's believed to be 1 of only 30 in existence. Back in 2001, some were gifted to LEGO employees, and the rest were awarded through a contest.
Goodwill VP Chad Smith says there are only 30 of the gold ones, while silver and platinum versions exist too.
When workers found it, no one knew what it was. It came in a box of random jewelry from the State College store and had already been processed through donations.
Once they realized what they had, they were shocked. Now they're hoping to maximize the donation with an online auction.
A $33,000 bid came in early on, but the winner never paid, so the item was relisted. It has already passed $4,000, and just like LEGO bricks, the bids keep stacking!

BURNING $1,700 WORTH OF POKEMON ETBS!
A Pokemon collector went to his local trading card store and purchased almost $2,000 worth of Prismatic Evolution ETBS. After purchasing them, instead of opening them, he decided to burn them...
Yes, he did this for content, but this showcases the Pokemon collectors in a bad light and creates stereotypes the hobby doesn't need.

Pokemon scalpers shifted to reselling used Burger Shot cups and bags 😭
Rockstar’s real-life Burger Shot and Cluckin’ Bell locations popped up inside Miami’s Kaseya Center as part of the GTA VI rollout, complete with branded cups, bags, and wrappers.
Now fans are flipping the promo items online for ridiculous prices. Cups are listed around $80–$100, bundles are asking hundreds, and one massive lot is listed for $1,799. A used Burger Shot bag even reportedly sold for $501 after 30 bids.
The hobby has FINALLY gone too far.

It took 12 months for fans to get this collectible Travis Scott action figure!
After a year of waiting, buyers are finally receiving their Travis Scott Rodeo 10th anniversary action figures, which dropped in September last year 🤯
The figure comes with a USB loaded with Rodeo, just as Travis Scott originally planned back in 2015, when he wanted to drop the album on a USB alongside the figure.
In a time when physical media is dying, the USB with the album pre-loaded on it is a great touch for collectors and fans alike.

Is a cardboard card REALLY worth millions? 🤔
You've seen the recent headlines: an ungraded Shohei Ohtani Dual Logoman sold for $11M, a Cooper Flagg 1/1 Debut Patch sold for $8M, and Logan Paul's Pikachu Illustrator sold for $16.4M, probably the most controversial sale of 2026.
Every collector has a theory about why. Is it the player, the grade? The provenance? The grade? Or something most collectors never see? We sat down with Jason Simonds, Consignment Director of Sports Cards at @HeritageAuction, to find out where the value actually comes from.
What follows is the clearest breakdown we've heard of the forces that turn a piece of cardboard into a trophy asset. Spoiler: the player on the front matters far less than most people assume.

If this sports card sale is true, it beats the current record by $37 million 💀
Patrick Bet-David recently sparked rumors on his podcast that a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 10 may have sold privately for an unbelievable amount of $50,000,000! Only 3 copies are reported to exist in this grade.
If confirmed, this would shatter the record for the most expensive sports card ever sold, with the current record being MJ/ Kobe Duel Logoman for $12.7 million.
The sale remains unconfirmed, but we will keep on digging to bring you more information on this developing story. STAY TUNED!

Grandpa’s attic was hiding one of the most famous books in Marvel history 🤯
While going through his grandfather’s comic collection, a man found an ungraded copy of Amazing Fantasy #15, the 1962 issue in which Spider-Man made his debut and Peter Parker’s origin story began.
The book has a serious track record. In 2021, a copy graded CGC 9.6 sold for $3.6 million, the highest price ever paid for the issue! The family sent their find for professional grading, and it came back a CGC 1.8, worth about $20,000.

A 30-year-old Michael Jordan card has finally been found!
In 1998, a 9-year-old pulled this card from a pack his dad bought him, and it resurfaced for the first time almost 30 years later.
Let's go back to the day it was found; Danny Nowack was a third grader in Medina, Ohio, when he found a Michael Jordan Upper Deck Game Jersey autograph inside a pack of basketball cards, one of only 23 ever made, each containing a swatch from the jersey Jordan wore in the 1992 All-Star Game!
At the time, his local paper even ran a story on it, when Upper Deck said he was only the second person in the country known to have pulled one.
Danny eventually sold the card for an undisclosed amount, and the original buyer has kept it locked in a safety deposit box ever since; of the three copies that have never surfaced publicly, only two remain.
It’s set to go live on @HeritageAuction this November. For context on what a card like this can bring, a different copy, numbered 11/23, reportedly sold privately for $4.25 million back in October 2025 — this card could beat that sale price by 1-2 million easily.
