Collett has successfully delivered and installed a 131-tonne shunt reactor at Trawsfynydd Substation via a complex beach landing at Black Rock Sands, completed within a 12-hour tidal window.

Successful wind farm deliveries rely on close coordination and collaboration. At Lairg II, teamwork helped us deliver 107 turbine components safely and on schedule, earning great feedback from Nordex. Thank you to everyone involved!
Collett delivered 107 components for nine Nordex turbines to Lairg II Wind Farm in the Scottish Highlands. The seven-week programme included 73-metre blades and tower sections weighing up to 81.7 Tonnes.

Transporting beams weighing up to 89 tonnes from FTB JV in Melton Mowbray, with deliveries continuing throughout 2026 as part of Collett’s wider involvement in the HS2 programme.
Collett continues to support HS2 with specialist transport for the new M42 ‘twin box’ near Solihull.
Since March, our team has delivered precast concrete beams from Melton Mowbray, with the largest weighing 89 tonnes. In total, Collett will transport 293 beams.
Collett has been shortlisted for Road Transport Operator of the Year at the 2026 Logistics UK Awards.
The nomination reflects the hard work that goes into planning and delivering complex transport projects throughout the year.

Yesterday we said our final farewell to our friend and colleague, Russ Gledhill.
Joining Collett in 1984, Russ became a respected team member for four decades. Fittingly, his final journey was on a Collett truck, reflecting the industry that shaped his life.

80-metre blades can be raised up to 60°, reducing the loaded trailer’s swept path and allowing the team to navigate built-up areas, tight bends and steep gradients.
